The family tradition and our love for the cultivation of the olive tree and the production of this gold olive oil begins four generations ago, with the first one being the great grandfather of today’s successor, Nasos Katsaniotis who bought the first olive groves in 1929. Today, the promise of continuity has passed to the fourth generation. Evangelos Zagkas having momentum and respect, depicts and officially presents the product to which the family gave birth in 1929. We continue to cultivate the olive trees by combining century-old cultivation methods with modern techniques and standard practices. We follow the best practices and apply the highest standards to bring our customers fresh and fruity olive oil of premium quality. Daphnis and Chloe Selection is produced in Greece in the region of Halkidiki on the shores of the Aegean Sea from the local variety Galani. It is fruity olive oil with aromas of fresh fruit, fresh-cut grass and herbs. It is harvested early in the season and leaves a peppery sensation. It has very low acidity and a high concentration of antioxidants.
