Our groves are in the hills above Florence at 300 meters above sea level. Their unique position ensures that they benefit from plentiful sunshine and cool breezes thanks to the elevation and the advantageous encounter of Mediterranean and Continental climates. Our groves survived the devastating 1985 frost, which nearly destroyed olive oil production in Tuscany. We are lucky to have great craggy hundred-year-old trees, a rare and beautiful sight in this area.

Cooperativa dedicada a proyecto de recuperación de campos de olivos (algunos de ellos centenarios) que se encuentran en proceso de abandono los cuales queremos preservar como imagen viva de la dieta, la cultura y el paisaje mediterráneos. Consideramos el olivar como un ecosistema donde han de convivir los olivos con otras especies animales y vegetales en armonía. Aceite de oliva virgen extra 100% arbequina extraído en frío mediante procesos mecánicos y cuyo fruto ha sido obtenido guardando en todo momento del proceso un profundo respeto por el fruto, el entorno y la biodiversidad.

The Arabs already took advantage of the fruit of the olive and its juice for domestic, cosmetic and offering use. At Bodegas Francisco Gómez we continue this ancestral legacy; we want to show the world the culture of our land and its history.
Our olives, of the arbequina, picual, grosal, chiquita and cornicabra varieties, come from 300 hectares of our own cultivation. Our private mill has the capacity to process one million kilos and we exclusively produce extra virgin olive oil. Here we bottle all our production, launching it both nationally and internationally.
