Agrestis Nettaribleo Dop-Bio

Agrestis is based in Buccheri, a small town in the hinterland of Syracuse. The whole area, at an altitude of about 820 meters above sea level, is made of steep hills, beautiful woods, and ravines and the olives represent a culture for centuries. Giuseppe Paparone and Lorenzo Nicotra, launched the small cooperative in 2003, to protect the century-old trees growing on the steep lands nearby and to turn domestic production into a quality business. From the beginning, the main philosophy for their project consists in guarantee high quality for a “precious aliment” which is the expression of the Sicilian traditions. They currently own about 10.000 trees, meaning hard and continuous work all year long to check every tree’s blossoming stages.

Baglio Ingardia farm was founded in the 18th century in the fertile countryside of Trapani. MONOCULTIVAR PERANZANA: Albori Monocultivar is obtained by 100% Peranzana olives, a fine cultivar found mainly in a little territory in the North of Puglia. It is characterized by low acidity and a high polyphenol concentration. Fruity medium gentle, and, at the same time, it has a strong character and personality. Yellow enhanced by light greenish reflections. Intense vegetal scents, of artichoke and slightly citrusy. Pleasantly spicy, of green chili.

Brunera

Frantoio di Montalcino Società Agricola came into existence in 2023, as the result of what could be described as a fortuitous encounter between an experienced olive oil maker and some highly motivated investors. They acquired the only oil mill in Montalcino, Tuscany, transforming its 75 years history into a super modern oil milling facility. The combination between exquisite olives and exclusive technologies allows the oil maker to express his creativity and experience. The current production of extra virgin olive oil is presented in two label called "Brunera" and "Più di Cinquecento".
