In Jordan we have a wealth of knowledgeable and talented women who have been the focus of many local and foreign organisations keen on help development and empowerment. Whilst these programmes have been paramount in upgrading skills and raising hopes, what remains lacking is how to get the products sold. Ru’yana, a Jordanian NGO that works with training and funding, saw that without the necessary steps of marketing and sales, skill and hard-work were not reaping tangible rewards. As a solution, Arduna stepped in to select experienced and qualified women producing superior products, and help with quality control, packaging and marketing. So you can rest assured that you are getting the best of what our hands and our lands have to offer. The name Arduna means “our earth” or “our land” in Arabic. We chose this name because our land is what connects these women from different governorates of Jordan and it is these lands that have the perfect nutrients and weather to create some of the best foods and products.
