Agrestis Nettaribleo Dop-Bio
Agrestis is based in Buccheri, a small town in the hinterland of Syracuse. The whole area, at an altitude of about 820 meters above sea level, is made of steep hills, beautiful woods, and ravines and the olives represent a culture for centuries. Giuseppe Paparone and Lorenzo Nicotra, launched the small cooperative in 2003, to protect the century-old trees growing on the steep lands nearby and to turn domestic production into a quality business. From the beginning, the main philosophy for their project consists in guarantee high quality for a “precious aliment” which is the expression of the Sicilian traditions. They currently own about 10.000 trees, meaning hard and continuous work all year long to check every tree’s blossoming stages.

Master Miller
In the centre of Spain, in the northern part of La Mancha and to the south of the province of Toledo, our town, Madridejos, is largely dominated by the outer foothills of the Mountains of Toledo, and the predominant crop is the Olive tree. The Garcia de la Cruz family has planted and cared for its olives from time immemorial, and since 1872 it has devoted itself to the care of the juice obtained from them: Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Five generations of olive professionals have improved the quality of the oil, from Federico Serrano in 1872, down to the present managers, the brothers Fernando and Eusebio Garcia de la Cruz Pascual. The company has grown from a small family business to one of the leading olive oil companies with greater presence abroad. Currently, Garcia de la Cruz Olive Oils markets its products across the five continents in more than 40 countries offering a wide range of products that can be considered one of the most complete in the market. The company holds the leading international certifications (IFS, BRC, JASS) that are a guarantee to the food world of the quality of its olive oil.
