The sacred tree of the goddess Athena, is a symbol of peace, hope, wisdom, fertility, wealth & health. Since it represented the Olympic ideals, the winners were crowned with an olive tree branch wreath. Olive oil, this precious commodity was so revered that Kings, Bishops and Popes were anointed with it to confirm their status and authority. Eventually all citizens anoint their babies with olive oil as part of the sacrament of baptism. Our family follows this tradition since the late 18th century in Kleisoura Messinias and this experience has been t ransformed into an art. Our high phenolic extra virgin olive oil is a product of a traditional early harvesting, storing and bottling process. Discover the elixir that only Nature can miraculously create!
